traveling Europe by train and writing short stories.

Always something new, constantly moving to the next thing I have discovered there are only three places I feel calm.

First, sitting in a train looking out of the window. When you already moving at incredible speed through the landscape (and you are aware of it, not just looking at the clouds below) you are already getting something done. Put on an album and enjoy the show.

Second, in the club surrounded by techno. All the way in the front, eyes closed and nothing but techno in my ears. In that moment I’m free, nothing else matters and I can just let my body go. Flowing through the music following instinctive movement.

Third, writing and exploring a story. Be it when I’m falling asleep, sitting in the Metro or just getting groceries. Stories are always around me. That security guard at Aldi with the interesting mustache. All these small things can trigger my imagination, I love riding along with those fantasies, but if I can’t get them out I will burst.
